Hello friends!
Commenting is a necessary function integrated on almost every website to get readers’ opinions, as well as increase interaction for the website. In this article, I will guide you to open the comment function, as well as manage comments in wordpress .
Configure comment function
By default, the comment function in WordPress is always enabled. However, there are also cases where you do not want to open the comment function on your website. To turn on / off the comment feature in wordpress, go to the menu Settings > Discussion in the Dashboard.
- You can enable/disable comments by checking/unchecking line number 1 as shown in the picture.
- Alternatively, you can force commenters to leave their name and email by selecting line 2 .
- Besides, if you want commenters to have to register and log in before commenting, you can choose line 3 .
- To avoid problems, we recommend that you enable moderation of all responses, by checking the Comments subject to moderation (4) box .

Now, you go out of the post, scroll down to the bottom to see the post reply area. Try leaving a comment with your Name and Email and hit the Feedback button .
