Category – What is Category?

How to create categories in wordpress?
To create a category / category, go to the menu Posts > Categories / Categories . You add categories / categories in wordpress with the following information:
- Name: The name of the category.
- String for static path: the path of the category used on the website. If you leave it blank it will automatically generate.
- Current category: the category you want to create is a child of any category, if so, please select the parent category here.
- Description: a short description of the content of the category.
After filling it out, click the Add category button .
At this point we will see the newly created category appear. If it is a child category, it will be below the parent category and will have a dash in front. If you hover over a category, a menu of functions will appear so that you can edit or delete the category.
Tags, also known as tags, are keywords that have the function of classifying articles in the direction of relevance. For example, in your article about Juventus team, there will be keywords like Juventus, Ronaldo, football team, … then the articles with the same tag as above will be grouped together. From there, viewers who search by tag will see those articles. Tags make it easier for readers to find related content in more detail.
Tags can be created by entering a tag when creating a new post. It will automatically be saved in the tag and group the articles related to the tag together. You can also create a tag first by going to Posts > Tags and create a tag just like creating a category above. However, the tag will not have a parent tag.
