After experiencing many VPS rental service providers, I am very “favorite” HostHatch .

1. Rare VPS with location in Hong Kong
As you know Hong Kong location is very close to Vietnam. So it is not surprising that the website hosted in this location has very good access speed from Vietnam. Not even less than the domestic location.
In the article of quality cheap VPS services , I have attached speed test photos of each VPS provider. The result is not surprising as the access speed from HostHatch VPS is very good compared to many other VPS providers.

2. Cheapest VPS in the market
The price of VPS rental at HostHatch is an advantage of this provider. At the configuration level of HostHatch, it is rare for any provider to dare to offer such a price.
HostHatch offers both OpenVZ and KVM VPS.
This is the price of the VPS KVM service for the Los Angeles location.
As you can see the lowest package of VPS KVM is 30$/month. That means you only spend $ 2.5 a month for VPS with 1GB RAM configuration. While Vultr ‘s $ 2.5 plan you only get 512MB of RAM.
The price like this is even lower than the shared host service, right?
The only regret is that KVM does not have a Hong Kong location.

The lowest package is also very cheap. Only $8/quarter. Annual payment is 30$/year. But this package is a bit less RAM, suitable for backup or satellite site.
You should use at least the 2nd pack onwards.
But this configuration compared to many other providers is also good. CPU all 2 cores onwards. The hard drive is pretty decent.

Instructions for creating and managing VPS HostHatch
First click the button below to register an account.
Sign in with the account you just created. Click the CREATE NEW SERVER button .
Choose the type of VPS you want. Here I want to rent a VPS for a Vietnamese website, so I want a Hong Kong location. This location is only available in OpenVZ as mentioned above.
So I choose OpenVZ.
Next, you choose Hong Kong for the location section.
Choose the server configuration that suits your needs. If you do satellite site choose the lowest package. If not, at least choose package number 2.
Choose CentOS as the operating system because it is popular and has high performance. If you choose a server with 1GB RAM or more, then choose CentOS 7 64bit version. Not only should you choose CentOS 6 32bit version.
HostHatch offers some additional options such as buying more IPs ($2/IP) or using cPanel ($13).
If you don’t need it, skip it
Choose a payment timeframe that suits your financial capabilities.
Enter the hostname and tick to agree to the terms. Click the Place Order button.
Click on the newly created Invoice to proceed with the payment.
Choose PayPal as the payment method for quick and easy.
After successful payment, you will see that your server or VPS has been created and is in running status as shown below.
Manage VPS at HostHatch
Click on the server you just created, you will go to the server management page as below:
I rate HostHatch’s VPS management interface as very simple, intuitive and easy to use.
You will have all the necessary functions such as:
- Start, stop, cancel the server
- Reinstall the server
- Get and create a password for the root account
- Upgrade to a higher server configuration.
Just that much is enough. No need for many eye-catching features.
