Create a table of contents for the article

First, to create a table of contents you need to install the plugin that supports Easy Table of Contents .

After installing and activating the plugin, from the Dashboard, go to the  Settings menu , you will see an additional  Table of Contents menu . Please go to this menu to set up this plugin.

In the Genera section, we set the following:

• Enable Support : select the type of content to be generated Table of Contents.
• Auto Insert : what type of content will be automatically inserted Table of Contents.
• Position : the display position of the table.
• Show when : only show the table of contents when there are two titles in the article. You can edit the number to your liking.
• Header Label : edit the title for the table of contents.

Next to the  Appearance section , you edit the display interface for the table to suit your preferences. After the setup is complete, remember to press the  Save button .

Now you go to create a new article with any content. In the article you remember to insert the title tags <h2>, <h3>, <h4>, etc. Then post this article.

View the article on the homepage, we will see a table of contents, containing a list of title tags that appear as below. Click on any title, the content will automatically run right down to that title paragraph for you to see.
