Hello fellow students!
Now let’s move on to part 2, of the article , a very powerful online store plugin. In the previous section, we have already configured to the Payment step, now go to the remaining configuration steps!
Woocommerce configuration:
After the Billing configuration is done, we go to the Account & Security Tab . With an online store, you always need customers to provide payment and shipping information.
- You can Allow customers to order without creating an account , because there are customers they only think of as a one-time purchase. If you force them to create an account, they won’t like it.
- Also, you should allow customers to sign in to their registered accounts during checkout so they don’t need to enter their information again. This means that if a customer already has an account from a previous purchase, they can log in and payment information will be available without re-entering.
- You should allow guests to create an account the first time they pay. This helps you collect customer information as well as help them reduce the steps of filling out information in the next purchase.
Configure WooCommerce for WordPress website
Go down to the Privacy Policy section , go to the Page to create a page called “Privacy Policy”. Then you choose it in this section.

Install with shortcode
The Combine tab has nothing to set up. Now I go to the Advanced tab . Before setting up here, you create your own pages with the following title and content:
- Page “Cart”, content
[woocommerce_cart] - “Payment” page, content
[woocommerce_checkout] - “Account” page, content
[woocommerce_my_account] - “Terms & Conditions” page, content optional.
I explain through the content of these pages. Woocommerce pre-made feature codes and packaged them into shortcodes. You create pages and call features through the shortcode that Woocommerce provides. For example, on the Shopping Cart page, you insert the shortcode [woocommerce_cart] , when the customer makes a purchase, this page will display a list of the items the customer has purchased.
Now you go back to the Advanced settings , in the Site settings you choose the pages you have created respectively.
Configure WooCommerce in the shopping cart section
Now go back to the page list. We will see the created pages with task annotations.

You can open the Account page in another browser to check it out, it will display the login and registration page as below.
