For example, you have a piece of code that retrieves articles according to certain criteria. You will write this code in the wordpress functions file and assign a shortcode name to it. To display the results in a page or post, you can call this code through the shortcode you created.

Instructions for using the plugin Shortcode Ultimate
First you need to find and install this plugin in the Plugin menu .

Now you go to create a new post, give it a title whatever you want. Now you will see a new button [] Insert shortcode

When you click it, a list of shortcodes will appear. There are more than 50 different shortcodes, tested with the ultimate shortcode called Tabs to insert tabbed content into posts. Other shortcodes when you have time to find out for yourself. Now click on the Tabs shortcode

Configuration for the ultimate shortcode
The tweak box for the ultimate shortcode appears, with the following options:
- Style: the style of the tab, the free version only has 1 style
- Active Tab: by default, what tab is opened, here is tab 1
- Vertical: Display tap vertically: No is no, meaning it will show horizontally
- Appearance On Mobile Devices: if selected as shown, it will display vertically when viewed on mobile devices.
- Extra CSS Class: this item for you to customize the css for Tab. Leave it blank for the time being.
- Content: the content will appear in the Tabs. Leave it as it is, now press the Insert shortcode button

Now, a shortcode is inserted in the post body. You will notice that the tab is declared with a structure with 2 opening and closing tags [su_tabs] … [/su_tabs]. The tabs will be between this tag and have the structure [su_tab title=” Tab name ” disabled=”no” anchor=”” url=”” target=”blank” class=””] Tab content [/su_tab]
Now, we change Tab name to the name of the Tab and Tab content is the content of the Tap. Tab name needs to be in the “…” and Tab content is not needed and can be placed in the row as you like, even inserting an image.

Then post this article and check out the article on the homepage it will appear 2 tabs like this. To add more tabs you can copy the shortcode [su_tab title=” Tab name ” disabled=”no” anchor=”” url=”” target=”blank” class=””] Tab content [/su_tab] and paste it into any position you want, but don’t break the structure of Tabs.
