Elementor Pro
The most prominent of the Page Builder plugins today is probably Elementor Pro. Elementor was launched in May 2016 and has been used more than 4 million times so far.
The advantage of Elementor is that it has a lot of components and extensions to support. The free version of Elementor is also more than enough for users. In addition, Elementor is quite easy to use and flexible. The most special feature of this plugin is that it does not slow down the website too much.
In 2018, Elementor Pro has a big change when it comes to supporting Theme Builder features. This feature allows to redesign all elements in the Website interface such as Header, Footer, Single Post, Archive Page… Most notably, the WooCommerce Page feature, which helps you edit the interface for both WooCommerce.
WPBakery Page Builder [ Visual Composer]
The most common Page Builder when buying theme packs in the past is WPBakery [Visual Composer].
WPBakery Page Builder – is the new name of Visual Composer – the best-selling plugin on CodeCanyon. Visual Composer also has many advantages, with many different components, including WooCommerce support. However, it has a problem that in my opinion is quite heavy. Websites running WPBakery will load slower when this plugin is turned off. And I feel Elementor Pro will have better speed than WPBakery.
Previously, most themes sold on Themeforest integrated WPBakery. But since the rise of Elementor, many theme developers have turned to this plugin.
Personally, I rate Elementor Pro much higher, and I also prefer this plugin if I buy a theme.
