Step 1
Visit Godaddy ‘s homepage . Then enter the domain name you want to register. And press the Search button. Godaddy will check the domain name to see if anyone has registered it
If you see results like ‘ Sorry, lookwp.com is taken ‘, it means the domain is already registered. At the bottom Godaddy will show the domains available for you to register. You just need to click on the Select button to select the domain name you want. After selecting the domain name you want, click the Continue To Cart button .
Step 2
On the next screen, Godaddy will add a translation to hide your personal information when registering a domain. The price for this service is $7.99/year. Here I will uncheck the service.
Click the Continue to Cart button to continue.
On the next screen, Godaddy will choose the default subscription period of 2 years. You should choose a year. If you need it later, you can extend it further.

Next, you choose Proceed to Checkout .
