How to fix the error of not sending mail with SMTP?
If you have an error with sending mail using contact form 7 with SMTP select Other SMTP error, you can use google API to configure it
Step 1: Install SMTP
Step 2: go to wp mail smtp and select google:
Here will require Client ID and Client Secret, to have these 2 you access the google console api with the gmail you want to send in the contact form:
Select Credentials -> OAuth client ID:
then will ask you to install the OAuth consent screen first:
Please fill in all the information here
+ App name: application name
+ User support email: support email.
+ App domain: is the domain name of your website.
+ Authorized domains: is the domain name your website is authorized to confirm.
After you are done, go to Credentials to get Client ID and Client Secret
then fill in the above and then click confirm with google.
