You must have heard the name Gutenberg. That is the new editor that will replace the editor you are using in WordPress.

It is planned that this will happen in WordPress 5.0. Currently, Gutenberg is still under development in its own plugin.

So to experience this editor you need to install and activate this plugin.

Before, I had a Gutenberg tutorial to help you get the basic experience of this new editor.

Basically, Gutenberg is based on the block concept. This idea is not new if you have used any of the page builder out there.

Your job is just to assemble the block.

Page builders all have basic modules that meet common needs. In addition, you can add modules to suit your needs through plugins, third-party extensions or directly from the developer page builder.

So does Gutenberg.

This article gives you information on some useful block collections. Block collection here can be a collection of related blocks.

When you add a block collection, the editor will have many new blocks in addition to the default blocks that Gutenberg provides. So the content you design will be more professional.

Below you will find 3 of Gutenberg’s best Block Collections.

1. Atomic Blocks

Among Gutenberg’s block collections today, Atomic Block is still the most refined looking option.

You will feel it as soon as you install it. Because you will see a welcome page that looks quite nice like this:

At present, Atomic Blocks has 11 blocks all for example post grid, container, testimonials, inlince notice and so on.

As soon as you install and activate Atomic Blocks you will see a new tab called Atomic Blocks when you add a new block in the Gutenberg editor.

Overall Atomic Blocks is a great extension to Gutenberg. Its block set makes it easy to design content for a variety of situations.

2. Stackable

Immediately after installing and activating Stackable you will have 17 new blocks added to the editor. There are some blocks like the ones that Atomic Blocks provides.

Talking about the number of Stackable blocks is still unmatched at this point. It is the largest collection on the market.

More importantly, all of his blocks look delicious.

The developer even added more advanced customization options, such as allowing you to change the background image, animation and many other cool things.

Atomic Blocks and Stackable have two different approaches to block development for Gutenberg. The first guy Atomic Blocks follows the simple philosophy that Gutenberg is aiming for. Whereas Stackable is the tastier option as it mimics what you’re used to seeing in page builders these days.

3. Editor Blocks

Editor Block is relatively new to Gutenberg’s Block Collection array. This plugin doesn’t have many installs or reviews yet.

However, after experiencing with this block collection, it also has many cool features that you should experience.

At this point, Editor Block has 10 blocks in which stand out such as pricing table, team member or hero section.

Where can you find individual blocks of Gutenberg

The disadvantages of such collections are:

You can use only a few blocks it provides. While many other blocks you do not touch.

In other words, sometimes you just want to add the blocks you really need.

In this situation you should visit Gutenberg Block Library. This is the best place to help you find the block you need.

This library is just a place to store information about blocks. When you click the Download button you will be redirected to the WordPress.org plugin page.
