The interface in wordpress is very diverse and rich with the ability to tweak and customize flexibly so you can change it to your liking. All themes of wordpress are customizable, and depending on the complexity of the interface, it can be customized more or less. Here I will introduce the simple customization that every wordpress theme has. From there as a basis for you to apply to other interfaces.
Customize wordpress theme
In this article, I use the default Twenty Twenty (2020) theme of wordpress or you can find and install it in the theme repository.
To tweak the wordpress interface, go to the menu Appearance > Customize . First, I edited the Site Identity section , including adding logo, Website Name, Slogan sentence – slogan. Then add the Site Icon, which is the small logo that appears to the left of the website name in the browser. After each step of customizing the wordpress theme , you will see the next screen change accordingly. Remember to hit the Post button when you’re done!
Next is to customize the Color section , including the background color of the page as well as the color of the page’s Header, Footer.
Next is Interface Options , which includes toggling the search bar on / off showing author information. Display articles in the archive in full, or summary form.
The next item is Background Image , ie the background image for the page instead of the normal color.

CSS is the code used to decorate the website interface: font color, width, font style, etc. If there are elements displayed outside the interface, you are not satisfied. You can edit its CSS by inserting a new CSS snippet here. It will automatically be applied to the theme in place of the old CSS and make the interface change to your liking.
