1. Sign up for a free account

Go to sendpulse.com page . Click the Signup button .
Enter registration information. Or you can use your social media account to register. After entering, click the Sign Up button.
SendPulse will send you the activate code. Enter the code and click the Confirm button. So you have a free account in SendPulse.
2. How to add your website to create push notifications
In the Dashboard or admin area of SendPulse, click on the Push Icon at the top. Then click on the Add new website button .
Enter your website’s domain name. Remember that you should install an SSL certificate for your website. It’s easy and completely free.
The subscription request section you keep the same. We will consider customization after we have finished adding the website.
Click the Next step button to continue.
On the next screen, you will see the code you need to add to your website.
Now you go to WordPress Admin and install the Sendpulse webpush plugin .
As soon as the plugin has been activated you go to Settings -> Sendpulse webpush . Here you paste the line of code you copied in the step above. Finally, click the Save Changes button.
Go back to SendPulse dashboard, click on the ‘ Enter the URL for code verification ‘ link.
Enter the address to any article on your website. Then click the Check button .
When the process of checking the code you insert into the website is successful, you will see a message like this:
So you’ve added the website. Visitors will see a request to receive notifications or not. Like this: (here I have added a message like the instructions in the section below).
3. Customize subscription request (requires subscription to receive notifications)
If you don’t like the default notification request template, you can customize it.
In the Push section of the SendPulse admin screen, click on the website you want to customize.
Then click on the Subscription Request tab . Here you will see 3 options as below:
By opening website : Display a request to receive notifications as soon as users visit your website. You can add reminders just like I do on my blog.
Plus, you can customize the delay time for notifications
By clicking the element : Display a message when the user clicks on an element on the website. This method requires you to add the class attribute to the element you want.
With a custom request : helps you create a custom request.
You can choose where to display notifications. Or topline. Or Floating button.
Change the text if desired. In addition, you can edit the interface including background color, text color, button color.
With this option you may have to accept the additional label “Powered by SendPulse.” Because to remove this label you have to pay a very expensive price :). This is the only limitation of SendPulse.
4. Create manual push notifications
Once you have a subscriber, you can manually create a push notification. Click the Send PUSH button .
You will see the push notification creation interface as below. It’s relatively clear, so I don’t need much explanation:
5. Create automatic push notifications
SendPulse allows to create an automatic push notification sequence. For example, as soon as a user subscribes to a notification, you can send an automatic push notification about a featured product on your website. Pretty cool isn’t it?
Here’s how:
Click on Automation . Then click the Create an automated series button.
You will have 2 options to create automatic push notifications.
- Send a chain of push notifications as soon as the user subscribes to the notification
- Send push notifications as soon as you have created a new article via RSS feed. If the website regularly creates new articles, you should not choose this feature.
Click the Create an automated series button to start creating automatic push notifications.

Once you are satisfied with the push notification, click the Save and launch button to send the planned push notification.
