How to create a cookie usage notice in WordPress?
What is GDPR?
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a general data protection law that has just been promulgated and entered into force in the countries of the European Union (EU).
GDPR was designed to address the problem that many companies are collecting and abusing user information.
Most websites today use cookies or similar methods to collect and store user information. Therefore, informing your visitors about the use of cookies is something you should do to ensure your website is GDPR compliant.
1: Installation: you go to Plugins => select Add new and then type the keyword “cookie”:

2: Usage:

- Message: Text displayed about the use of cookies.
- Privacy policy: create a privacy policy link button.
- Refuse consent: enable will allow the user to refuse 3rd party cookies.
- Revoke cookies : tick if you want to give users the ability to revoke their cookie consent (requires the Refuse cookies option to be enabled ).
- Script blocking : inserts scripts without cookie functionality, such as Google Analytics… for use after cookies are approved.
- Reloading : reload the website after the cookie is approved.
- On scroll : displays a cookie usage message when the user scrolls the page.
- Cookie expiry : how long the cookie is stored.
- Script placement : the location to insert the script to notify the use of cookies.
- Deactivation : deletes all setup data when the plugin is deactivated (deactivate).
- Position : the display position of the message.
- Animation : the effect of showing the message.
- Button style : button style.
- Colors : notification background color and text color.
