With each store, there is a delivery service for customers in many places. So you need to configure more detailed delivery methods to ensure the interests of the store as well as the customer. When setting up a shipping method, the delivery fee will be charged directly to the customer’s order at each checkout.

You go to the WooCommerce menu > Settings , then the Shipping tab . In the delivery area section, click the Add delivery area button.

Region Name Enter the name of a shipping area to which the delivery fee applies. Depending on you, the division can be according to each province or a certain region consisting of many provinces. In the Region section you can set a Zip / Postal Code Limit so that WooCommerce can calculate the shipping fee based on this. For example, the zip code of Da Nang is 550000. If you choose to apply the fee according to a region including many provinces, you add their zip codes here, one code per line.

Next, you add a delivery method for this region. By adding the Same Price method to apply a common shipping cost to the regions you select. If you want to apply free shipping in a specific case. Please add Free Shipping as well .

After adding the shipping method is complete. You click on the Same Price method to set the default shipping fee. You should leave the Tax Status section blank , because the shipping fee is not taxable. Then enter a cost rate for this shipping method.
Free shipping configuration
Next, you configure the conditions for free shipping. Tap the Free Shipping method . It has the following conditions:
- A valid free delivery offer: is to apply free shipping to store promotions.
- Minimum order quantity : the minimum order of the customer, the free shipping will be.
- Order value and a coupon : customers will receive free shipping if there is a minimum order value and/or a coupon.
Here I choose free shipping according to the minimum order amount is 10 million.
We now have additional delivery charges for the Da Nang area. You can add all 64 provinces or with further areas may apply the same fee. Please add the region and add the provinces in that region with the zip code.
Delivery options
Finally, go to Shipping Options and choose the settings as shown. In the Delivery location section, you should select Set default customer shipping address . Because many customers will give the billing address in one place, and the shipping address will be in another.
